Training

.: Foundations: Once you have chosen to believe in yourself and your business dream, we encourage you to take Foundations, our eight week business planning course.  When you participate in Foundations, you join with other entrepreneurs to explore the basics of starting or growing a business.  At the end of the course, you will have turned your business concept into a comprehensive business plan which you can use to grow your company.

.: GO! Program: Once you have a well-established business plan, you may benefit from Mountain BizWorks' Growth Through Objectives (GO!) Program.  Each GO! Program contract begins with an initial business assessment by a Mountain BizWorks business developer.  Afterwards, you and your business developer will work one-on-one to accomplish your specific goals.

.: EDGE Program: Existing businesses that have grown out of their start-up mode, are ready for rapid growth, seek outside capital, or want to reach toward a larger market can utilize Mountain BizWorks' EDGE program.  EDGE has three customized business coaching solutions: management tools, profit improvement, and growth strategies.

.: Advanced Courses: Many Advanced Courses are offered throughout the year. Course topics include Marketing and Sales, Financial Tools featuring QuickBooks, Social Media, Excel, and many others.  Checkout our online calendar for current class offerings.

Financing

If you need capital to start, expand, or buy a business, you will want to learn more about Mountain BizWorks’ loan program.  Our program is designed not only to help you succeed in business by getting the needed money, but also to educate individuals with the process of getting a loan.  Our lending is geared to financing your business when traditional lending from a bank may not be available.  Our loans of up to $50,000 are structured to meet your ability to pay.  Conditions differ according to your financial needs and include short term loans, lines of credit, and term loans to five years. Our other services such as advice and counseling may be part of Mountain BizWorks’ package provided to help you succeed in your business.
